My four area of editing focus are: manuscript evaluation (beta reading); developmental editing (substantive editing); authenticity/diversity reading (sensitivity reading); and proofreading.
I've edited 70+ books to date and am equally proficient with finely-detailed proofreading and macro-level editing services, such as developmental editing and manuscript evaluation. As an authenticity reader, I accurately and respectfully identify bias, stereotypes, inaccurate language, and provide in-depth feedback to assist clients convey their stories.
